Biography

Pat Lucey has served on the Board of Directors of the Project Management Institute since 2024 and is currently Chair of PMI Governance Committee. He is a long-time volunteer and is past president of PMI’s Ireland Chapter.  

Lucey is a co-founder of Aspira, an international consultancy delivering technology, project management and business advisory services, and served as Aspira’s CEO and chairperson from 2007-2022. He believes that Entrepreneurship and Project Management go hand-in-hand.  Prior to Aspira, he was director of project management at Motorola for 17 years and an engineer with Siemens.
